SINOSCOOP Xi, Trump en Poetin: verhangen bordjes

In Beijing heeft Trump van Xi nul op het rekest gekregen, ondanks alle lof die de Amerikaanse president hem toezwaaide. Ook Poetin, die vlak na Trump zijn opwachting maakte bij keizer Xi, ging ondanks hun 'grenzeloze vriendschap' met lege handen naar huis. Hiermee heeft Xi niet alleen tijd gewonnen om nog sterker te worden, maar ook duidelijk gemaakt dat de bordjes in de wereld zijn verhangen.
